"A thought-provoking collection of photographs and prints exploring the notion of home, and the everyday journeys we make which are often taken for granted.
Halfway Home contains striking observations of place and space by London based artist Georgie Fay. Her work for this exhibition explores the notion of flight and the journeys made by migrating birds, using the current migrant crisis as a point of poignant reference. Georgie’s work represents the feelings of homesickness and nostalgia, which are often evoked when travelling and experiencing unfamiliar landscapes."
Private View will be on Thursday 26th April 5.30-7.30pm
I will be delivering school workshops for KS2 students in Tower Hamlets, responding to my exhibition and teaching them some fun and exciting printmaking techniques.
Looking forward to using their responses as the inspiration for future prints and exhibitions.
